North Valley– Albuquerque Neighborhood
The district of North Valley Albuquerque is located just above Interstate 40 on the West side of I 25 and bordered by the Rio Grande River to the west. Home to roughly 11,000 residents this district covers about 7 1/2 square miles and offers several smaller neighborhood including the Los Ranchos de Albuquerque, Dietz Farms, El Manzanito Orchards, Tinnin Famrs and Cimino Townhouses.
Residents here enjoy all the amenities of the tight-knit community including fire stations, police substations, nine elementary schools, three middle schools, one high school, two libraries, and over 20 neighborhood parks. Enjoy shooting some hoops at one of the several basketball courts around the area or take a dip in the community pool; it’s all here at the North Valley part of Albuquerque.
Homes in the North Valley start around $150,000 and can range as high as $350,000 depending on size, style, and location. The average home price is around $200,000 for 2 to 3 bedroom home. This makes a great place for commuters since I-40 (Coronado freeway) is so close by. You’re just minutes away from downtown Albuquerque, old town, and several of the other districts around Bernalillo County.
